THEATRE 29 “BAKER’S DOZEN” IMPROV TROUPE SEPTEMBER 15
Now with a year and a half of legendary hilarity, wildly successful performances and the hometown Theatre 29 filled to overflow capacity with enthusiastic audiences, Theatre 29's Improvisational Troupe, THE BAKERS DOZEN, takes the stage once more at 7:00 pm Saturday, September 15th, 2018 for a show guaranteed to be Half-Baked!
Improvisational theatre pre-dates the invention of writing, long before we started writing scripts we were telling stories by acting them out. improv is a form of live theatre in which the plot, characters and dialogue of a game, scene or story are made up in the moment. Under the Direction of Troupe Director, Chris Fleischman, the Theatre 29 “Baker’s Dozen” Troupe will take suggestions from the audience as a source of inspiration to get started.
Featuring a top-notch cast of improvisers and special guest artists, the players will take the audience through a series of hysterical improvisational games where anything can happen (and usually does!).
The “Baker‘s Dozen” consists of thirteen talented comedian/actors each with a unique take on the art of improvisational comedy. Along with Director Fleischman and Assistant Directors Graham Cooley and Katie Fleischman they are; Cindy Daigneault Lisa Goldberg, Cody Joseph, Kathryn Ferguson, Charles Harvey, Joseph Rego, Lyle Williams, Kevin Myers, Kurt Schauppner, and Marty Neider.
In addition to 7:00 pm Saturday, September 15, Additional live improv performances (rated PG-13) by the troupe are scheduled for 7:00 pm at Theatre 29 November 10, and December 29, 2018.
