SPECIAL “LES IS MORE” IMPROVISATIONAL SHOW SET AS FAMILY FUNDRAISER
Theatre 29’s resident improv troupe, The Baker’s Dozen, have scheduled an additional performance for March 30th at 2:30 P.M. The matinee performance “Les Is More” will honor the dearly departed radio personality and resident of the Morongo Basin, Les (Heide) Taylor, who was also an active member of the Theatre 29 family, serving as director, cast member, and stagehand in countless productions.
Most recently, Taylor was cast in the production of Oklahoma, which will be ending its run the same weekend. All proceeds from “Les Is More” will go to his family to help with the expenses left in the wake of his unexpected loss. Tickets can be purchased for $10, and Theatre 29 will be accepting donations from those who wish to give more.
Featured in this special fundraiser matinee will be Graham Cooley, Cindy Daigneault, Kathryn Ferguson, Chris and Katie Fleischman, Lisa Goldberg, Charles Harvey, Cody Joseph, Marty Neider, Joseph Rego, and Kurt Schauppner. All of the performers worked with Taylor during his career as a radio personality and his tenure volunteering his time and talents to Theatre 29.
Baker’s Dozen Director Chris Fleischman said, “The troupe members are honored to have this opportunity to pay homage to their dear friend and supporter with their renowned comic hijinks.”
Make your reservations now online at theatre29.org or by calling the box office at (760) 361-4151.
