Street Fair and Car Show 2010

 It’s that time of year again, ladies and gentlemen, and people from all over southern California are getting excited about the Twentynine Palms Annual Street Fair and Car Show. This year’s event is scheduled for Friday, June 4, 2010 from 6:00-10:00pm on Highway 62, directly in front of the new Chamber of Commerce and Visitor’s Center building.

Fees for car entrants have dropped to $20 for pre-registered vehicles and $25 for vehicles registered on-site. Chamber Executive Director Rob Fleck felt the $10 per car drop in fees would encourage more individuals to actively participate in the show in addition to simply attending the event.  The Street Fair and Car Show drew thousands of people and nearly 100 entrants last year, and the interest is hardly waning. We have been receiving calls from interested car owners from as far away as San Diego for months!

Members of the community, in addition to business owners and Chamber members are highly encouraged to submit any and all ideas to help make this year’s event the best yet.

The Twentynine Palms Chamber of Commerce is still actively looking for both sponsors and vendors for the event. Interested parties should contact the Chamber offices at (760) 367-3445 for forms and information.
