Buxton Report and Explanation

In 2006, the Buxton Community ID report for Twentynine Palms was received. Buxton Community ID studies are based on the psychographic spending habits of the consumers within a 15-minute drive from the potential retail outlet. Buxton created a list of retailers whose profiles closely matched that psychographic profile.

The Morongo Basin Economic Development Partnership funded the study. The City of Twentynine Palms eventually became a member and contributed to the funding of Phase 2 of the project, but the work was done by the Partnership. The project focused on two sites: one in Yucca Valley and the other in Twentynine Palms. Full project details can be obtained at City Hall in Twentynine Palms.
